Art and aesthetics hold a special place in my life.

I am Kristine Kneis, an abstract artist from Austria, inspired by the nature of Southern Carinthia and distant places.

As long as I can remember, colors, shapes, and creative processes have accompanied me. Painting has always been a natural part of my life and my personal expression.

As a self-taught artist, I have experimented with various techniques over the years and developed my own style – from mixed media to acrylic painting. My works range from abstract, contemporary, and minimalist art. Often, I create calm, monochrome compositions, but sometimes also vibrant works with bold colors and exciting textures.

With the founding of my family, fine art temporarily took a backseat. The years with small children at home were a creative break that shaped my view on life, art, aesthetics, and comfortable living spaces. In my work as a photographer, I was able to deepen my sense of light, composition, and timeless visual language.

Today, I want to focus more intensely on fine art again.

Inspired by nature and many travels, I create works with a modern, clear, and contemporary aesthetic.

I want to create art for people who love stylish spaces and value special details – art that harmoniously integrates into contemporary interiors and gives rooms character.
